Spider Crane Delivered to Ireland with Safety Configuration
SEVENCRANE recently completed the production of a customized Spider Crane for a customer in Ireland. The project required a compact yet powerful lifting solution with advanced safety systems, English-language operation, and flexible working capability for indoor and outdoor lifting applications. The equipment was scheduled for delivery within 20 working days under CIF terms to Dublin, Ireland.
The ordered model was the SS5.0 Spider Crane, featuring a 5-ton lifting capacity and equipped with multiple upgraded configurations to meet the customer’s operational requirements. The customer selected a white exterior design and requested that all labels, operating instructions, and software display interfaces be fully presented in English to simplify local operation and maintenance.
Customized Spider Crane Configuration
This Spider Crane was specially configured with several intelligent and safety-oriented systems. The crane uses a proportional control valve cyber remote control system with a display screen, allowing operators to achieve smooth and precise movements during lifting operations. Compared with traditional control systems, proportional control significantly improves operational accuracy when handling sensitive or heavy materials in confined spaces.
The customer also required a single-phase 220V, 50Hz power supply, which is suitable for many local job sites in Ireland where convenient access to industrial three-phase power may not always be available. This flexible electrical configuration makes the Spider Crane easier to deploy in renovation projects, indoor installations, and maintenance environments.
To ensure reliable performance and mobility, the crane was equipped with a Yanmar 4TNV88 diesel engine. The engine provides stable power output while maintaining fuel efficiency and low noise levels, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Advanced Safety Features
Safety was one of the customer’s primary concerns during the project discussion. To meet these requirements, SEVENCRANE integrated multiple protection systems into the Spider Crane.
The crane includes:
- Three-turn winch alarm system
- Hook over-winding alarm
- Outrigger sensors
- Outrigger warning system
- One-key leveling function
- Load moment indicator with fly jib data
- Load moment limiter
These systems help operators monitor crane conditions in real time and reduce operational risks during lifting work. The one-key leveling function allows the outriggers to automatically adjust the crane body position, improving setup efficiency and stability on uneven ground.
Hydraulic Fly Jib and Rotating Basket
The customer also selected a hydraulic fly jib to increase lifting flexibility. The fly jib allows the Spider Crane to reach difficult working positions where standard boom operation may be limited. This attachment is especially useful for glass installation, steel structure assembly, and maintenance work inside narrow spaces.
In addition, the project included a rotating basket, enabling operators to perform aerial work safely and efficiently. The combination of the Spider Crane and rotating basket expands the equipment’s application range from material lifting to personnel lifting and maintenance support.

Meeting Customer Requirements Efficiently
During the communication process, the customer emphasized the importance of equipment usability and localization. SEVENCRANE quickly responded by confirming every English-language detail, including software interface translation, warning labels, and operation manuals.
The customer also paid close attention to the crane’s intelligent control system and safety configuration. After detailed technical discussions regarding the proportional control system, fly jib operation, and stability systems, the final specification was confirmed smoothly.
With an efficient production schedule and close coordination between departments, the Spider Crane project was arranged for delivery within the requested 20 working days.
Wide Applications of Spider Crane
Spider Crane equipment is widely used in industries such as:
- Glass curtain wall installation
- Steel structure assembly
- Indoor equipment maintenance
- Power station projects
- Construction and renovation work
- Narrow-space lifting operations
Because of its compact structure, flexible outriggers, and strong lifting performance, the Spider Crane can easily access locations where traditional cranes cannot operate.
As global demand for compact lifting equipment continues to increase, SEVENCRANE remains committed to providing customized Spider Crane solutions with reliable quality, intelligent control systems, and professional technical support for customers worldwide.
