Overhead Crane Delivered to Argentina for Machine Manufacturing
SEVENCRANE recently completed the production of an SNHD-European overhead crane for a manufacturing company in Argentina. The project originated from a customer we met at the EXPOMIN 2025 exhibition. Proving once again that face-to-face communication at international trade shows helps establish trust and create long-term business opportunities. After several months of technical discussions and project follow-up, the customer officially confirmed the order. And the crane was successfully manufactured within the required 20 working days.
The project was shipped under FOB Qingdao Port terms with payment arranged as 30% T/T in advance and 70% before shipment. Although the customer faced challenges with international payments due to local banking regulations in Argentina, both parties maintained close communication throughout the purchasing process. SEVENCRANE actively cooperated with the customer during payment approval, helping ensure the project moved forward smoothly.
The supplied equipment was an SNHD-European overhead crane with a 5-ton lifting capacity, 13.66-meter span, and 4.836-meter lifting height. Designed for A5 working duty, the crane is suitable for medium-duty industrial applications involving frequent lifting operations. It was equipped with a 380V, 50Hz, three-phase power supply and operated by a wireless remote control. Providing flexible and safe material handling within the customer's production workshop.
In addition to the crane itself, the project also included a complete supporting system consisting of 40 meters of 10 mm² conductor bars, 80 meters of 50×30 crane rails, and 80 meters of HN396×199×7×11 runway beams. Supplying the complete runway system ensured compatibility between all components. And simplified installation after the equipment arrived at the customer's factory.

The customer specializes in manufacturing components for crushing equipment and other heavy industrial machinery. Although the company had previous knowledge of overhead cranes, this was their first time purchasing and operating such equipment. Because of this, they paid close attention not only to product quality but also to technical support and documentation. According to the contract requirements, SEVENCRANE prepared detailed production drawings immediately after order confirmation. And submitted them for customer approval before manufacturing began. This allowed the customer to verify every important dimension and installation detail, ensuring the final product perfectly matched the workshop layout.
One of the key discussions during the quotation stage involved the crane's drive system. Initially, SEVENCRANE provided a quotation using SEW motors, well known worldwide for their excellent efficiency, durability, and stable performance. Later, to give the customer more flexibility, we also prepared an alternative quotation using domestic motors. At the same time, we carefully explained the performance differences, maintenance advantages, and long-term reliability of the SEW configuration.
During the negotiation process, another supplier from Shanghai also submitted a quotation. While that proposal offered a lower overall price, the customer ultimately decided that equipment reliability was more important than the initial purchase cost. After comparing both technical solutions, they selected SEVENCRANE's SNHD-European overhead crane equipped with SEW motors. Recognizing that the higher-quality components would provide lower maintenance costs and greater operating stability throughout the crane's service life.
The project timeline also required careful coordination. The customer first sent the inquiry in August, but the factory building had not yet reached the construction stage. So the purchasing decision was postponed. Throughout the following months, SEVENCRANE maintained regular contact, providing technical support while monitoring the customer's project progress. When the workshop construction entered its final stage in November, the customer was ready to move forward. A Proforma Invoice was issued immediately. And after completing the bank approval process, the payment was successfully received in late December.

Because the customer required production to be completed within only 20 working days, SEVENCRANE prioritized the project in its manufacturing schedule. The engineering, production, and quality control departments worked closely together to ensure every component met European design standards while maintaining the promised delivery date. Before shipment, the complete SNHD-European overhead crane underwent comprehensive factory testing. Including lifting performance, traveling stability, electrical inspection, and safety verification.
This successful project highlights SEVENCRANE's commitment to providing not only high-quality lifting equipment but also professional engineering support throughout every stage of the purchasing process. From the initial exhibition meeting to technical consultation, equipment optimization, production drawing confirmation, and final delivery, our team worked closely with the customer to provide the most suitable lifting solution.
Today, the SNHD-European overhead crane continues to be one of SEVENCRANE's most popular products for manufacturing plants, machinery workshops, steel processing facilities, and industrial production lines. Combining compact European design, premium components, smooth operation, and reliable performance, it offers customers an efficient and long-lasting material handling solution that supports productivity while minimizing maintenance costs.
