Electric Hoist Delivered to Albania for Single Girder Gantry Crane
SEVENCRANE recently completed the production of a customized Electric Hoist for a customer in Albania. Designed to work with a single girder gantry crane, the project demonstrates our ability to provide reliable lifting equipment tailored to specific installation requirements. The order was delivered under CIF Durres, Albania terms with a production time of 20 working days. Payment was arranged as 30% T/T in advance and the remaining 70% before shipment. Ensuring a smooth transaction for both parties.
The customer selected an SNH European Electric Hoist with a 5-ton lifting capacity, 8-meter lifting height, and M5 working duty. It is suitable for medium-duty industrial applications. Compared with conventional hoists, the European-style Electric Hoist features a compact structure, smooth lifting performance, lower headroom, and higher operating efficiency. These advantages make it an ideal choice for manufacturing workshops, warehouses, steel fabrication plants, and material handling systems requiring reliable daily operation.
One of the key requirements of this project was compatibility with the customer's single girder gantry crane. The crane's main girder was designed with a 300 mm lower flange width. So the hoist trolley needed to match this dimension precisely. Before production, SEVENCRANE's engineering team carefully reviewed the customer's specifications to ensure that the trolley wheels, mounting dimensions. And running mechanism would perfectly fit the existing girder without requiring any on-site modifications. This attention to detail helps customers reduce installation time and ensures smooth operation immediately after commissioning.
The hoist was manufactured to operate with a 380V, 50Hz, three-phase power supply, meeting the customer's local electrical standards. A 48V control voltage was incorporated to improve operational safety, reducing electrical risks for operators during daily use. Ground control was selected as the operating method, providing a simple and reliable solution for workshop applications while maintaining accurate load positioning.
Another special requirement involved product identification. The customer requested that all specification labels be printed entirely in English. Ensuring compliance with local documentation requirements and making installation, maintenance, and future inspections more convenient. SEVENCRANE customized the equipment labels accordingly while maintaining all required technical information and safety markings.
Although the order consisted of a single Electric Hoist, it played a critical role in the customer's complete lifting system. As the primary lifting mechanism of the gantry crane, the hoist directly influences the efficiency, precision, and reliability of daily material handling operations. For this reason, every major component—including the motor, gearbox, wire rope, drum, brake, and electrical control system—underwent strict quality inspections before shipment. Factory testing verified lifting performance, running stability, braking reliability, and electrical safety. Ensuring the equipment fully met design specifications before leaving our production facility.
The compact European design offers several advantages over traditional hoists. Reduced overall dimensions increase available lifting height, while optimized weight distribution decreases wheel loads on the crane structure. These improvements not only enhance lifting efficiency but also reduce maintenance requirements throughout the equipment's service life.
