Jib Crane for Warehouse Lifting Application in the Czech Republic

Sometimes a project does not begin with a long negotiation or repeated comparisons. It begins with a brief conversation at an exhibition booth, a shared understanding of technical requirements. And a sense that response speed matters just as much as price. This order for a pillar-mounted jib crane is one such example. It originated from direct contact at the BAUMA trade fair in Munich, Germany.

The customer, an end user from the Czech Republic, was looking for a reliable lifting solution for warehouse material handling. Having previously used European-brand jib cranes, the client was already familiar with performance expectations and safety standards. The most notable aspect of this project was not only the clarity of the technical requirements, but also the strict limitations on the overall height of the equipment. This became a key decision-making factor.

The order, with a total value of EUR 6,406, was confirmed with 100% T/T prepayment. From first contact on April 10, 2025, to final confirmation, the process moved quickly. The client placed the order without hesitation, reflecting a high level of trust built during the face-to-face meeting in Munich. For this customer, fast and professional response was clearly as important as product quality.

The solution included two sets of BZ-type Floor Mounted Jib Cranes, both with a rated capacity of 1 ton and a working duty class of A3. Each crane was designed with a 2.5-meter jib length, but with different lifting heights to meet specific warehouse needs. One unit featured a lifting height of 1.97 meters with a strictly controlled total crane height of 2.8 meters. The second unit provided a lifting height of 3.67 meters, with a total height limited to 4.5 meters. In both cases, total height was treated as the decisive design reference rather than nominal parameters, ensuring smooth installation in a height-restricted warehouse environment.

Both jib cranes were configured for floor-mounted, column-type installation, allowing stable operation and full use of the working radius. A 360-degree slewing angle was specified, enabling flexible material handling across the entire workstation area. All motions—including lifting, hoist traveling, and jib rotation—were designed as single-speed operations, emphasizing simplicity, reliability, and ease of use for warehouse operators.

To further adapt to the limited headroom conditions, each jib crane was equipped with a low-headroom electric chain hoist. This configuration maximizes effective lifting height while maintaining a compact structure. Ground control operation was selected, matching the customer’s preference for straightforward and safe daily use. The power supply followed European standards, operating at 400V, 50Hz, three-phase, ensuring seamless integration with the local electrical system.

From a logistics perspective, the cranes were shipped from Qingdao Port by sea under CIF terms, with the final destination being Prague. The agreed delivery time was 20 working days, reflecting efficient production scheduling and export coordination. This short lead time was especially important for the customer, who emphasized responsiveness and delivery reliability throughout the communication process.

In application, these Floor Mounted Jib Cranes are used for lifting heavy goods within a warehouse environment. The compact structure, precise height control, and full rotation capability allow operators to handle loads efficiently without interfering with surrounding storage racks or building structures. For an end user accustomed to European equipment, maintaining comparable quality while offering fast response and clear technical execution proved decisive.

This project illustrates how a well-matched Floor Mounted Jib Crane solution, combined with timely communication and a clear understanding of on-site constraints, can turn a brief exhibition meeting into a smooth and successful international order.
