Installation of gantry

1. The matters that need attention during installation of gantry crane

When the crane is delivered to required site, crane should be given to unloading and hauling work so that the parts will not twisted, bent, crushed and damaged in other accidents. The machine shall be stored in stable place and ground shall be solid to prevent the ground from sinking and gird from deforming. When the crane needs to be installed, the user shall organize working staff concerned to carefully study the drawings so that the errors and defects caused by improper transportation and storage. Beside, special attention shall be given to the defects in mental mechanism divisions whose defects shall be corrected before installation.

2.Carting running gear has been tested and experienced test run. The trolley running gear of gantry crane is shipped and delivered together with bottom end rail and after installation of the crane the trolley running gear will be installed and inspected in accordance with the following requirements.

• When the running gear is inspected, exterior side of the driving wheel shall be used as the benchmark.
• The error of symmetrical vertical plane between the wheel end face and steel rail shall be equal or less than L/100(L is length) and the mal-alignment directions of the driving wheels (driven wheels ) shall be opposite.
• The non-perpendicularity between the wheel end face and the end face of running track shall be equal or less than 1/400 of the wheel diameter and the upper side shall be partial to the exterior side of the track .
• When the crane is free from load, all of installed wheels shall contact with track at the same time.
• The swing range of center line of transmission shaft shall be equal or less than 1mm.
• When the wheels hangs in the air and it is turned by hand, it shall not be stuck.
