Transacted Aluminum Gantry Crane With Singaporean Clients

On October 17, 2024, SEVENCRANE successfully delivered an aluminum gantry crane (Model PRG1M20) to Lian Eng Pte Ltd. It is a well-established engineering solutions provider in Singapore with over 70 years of experience.

The customer acted as a middleman and indicated that their end user was interested in buying one device for testing first. And then possibly placing a bulk order later. Recognizing the opportunity for a long-term partnership, SEVENCRANE worked closely with them to finalize the deal.

Initially, the customer requested an air freight quote for direct delivery to their company address. Although we advised them about the high cost of air freight, they insisted on receiving a door-to-door air freight price. After reviewing the quote, they realized the shipping cost was too expensive and that the end user was unwilling to accept it.

To help the customer find a more cost-effective solution, we suggested that they arrange their own freight forwarder in China for shipping and customs clearance. We then provided an ex-factory price with a suitable discount. The customer appreciated the flexibility and, after one week, made full payment for the order.

Within 15 working days, production was completed, and the finished product was handed over to their freight forwarder for shipment. Approximately ten days later, the customer received the aluminum gantry crane, and upon inspection, they were highly satisfied with the quality, stating that it exceeded expectations. They also expressed confidence that their end user would be pleased and looked forward to future cooperation with SEVENCRANE!
